Ukraine

Ukraine is a country located in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Belarus to the north, Russia to the northeast and east, the Sea of Azov to the southeast, and the Black Sea to the south. It shares borders with Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland to the west. The capital and largest city is Kyiv. Ukraine is known for its rich agricultural land, diverse culture, and history. It has a population that speaks primarily Ukrainian, and it is recognized for its significant contributions to art, music, and science. Ukraine declared independence from the Soviet Union on August 24, 1991, and has since undergone various political and social changes, especially in response to its relations with Russia and the European Union.
