Soccer

Soccer, known as football in most countries outside of North America, is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each. The objective of the game is to score goals by getting a ball into the opposing team’s net, using any part of the body except the hands and arms, unless you are the goalkeeper. The game is played on a rectangular field with a goal at each end. It is governed by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and is one of the most popular sports worldwide, with millions of players and fans. Matches typically last 90 minutes, divided into two halves, and are officiated by a referee. Soccer is characterized by its emphasis on strategy, teamwork, and physical endurance.
