MLB

MLB, or Major League Baseball, is the professional baseball organization that is recognized as the highest level of play in the United States and Canada. Founded in 1903, it is composed of two leagues: the American League (AL) and the National League (NL). Each league consists of 15 teams, making a total of 30 teams in the major leagues. MLB is responsible for overseeing the rules, regulations, and standard practices of professional baseball and is known for its rich history and significant cultural impact in North America. It organizes the regular baseball season that culminates in the postseason playoff series, leading to the World Series, where the champions of the AL and NL compete for the championship title. MLB also includes a minor league system that develops new talent for the major leagues.
